Dharmesh Arora Steps Down as Schaeffler India MD; to Takeover as APAC CEO

Dharmesh Arora will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the company, effective October 1. 2019
After two years of serving as Managing Director of Schaeffler India, Dharmesh Arora, will step down from his role from September 30, 2019.
Arora, who joined the company in 2012, will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the company, effective October 1 2019, Schaeffler India said in a regulatory filling. He will take over as Regional CEO - Asia Pacific and Executive Board Member, Schaeffler AG.
Harsha Kadam will assume Arora's resposibility and also take up the role of Additional Director for a period of Five years effective October 1, 2019.

In his previous assignments, Kadam was the CEO of AGI Glaspac (India) and held several positions of increasing responsibilities at SKF India.
In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has led several businesses including functions like Sales, Manufacturing, Product Design and Development. He is holder of several patents and has won global awards for innovation excellence. Kadam is a Mechanical Engineer with additional qualifications in business management.
Besides, the company announced a slew of other high management appointments.
Arvind Balaji is appointed as an Additional Director and as an Independent Director for a term of Five consecutive years effective November 6. 2019. Renu Challu is re-appointed an Independent Director. for the second term of five consecutive years effective November 6, 2019.
